Ada Marie Christian Cox, 78, of Kingsport, went home to be with the Lord Friday, June 08, 2018, at the residence of her daughter, Donna Frost.She was a lifelong resident of Kingsport. Marie graduated from Lynn View High School. She retired from Lynn Garden Hardware after 32 years of service. Marie was a member of Midfield Free Will Baptist Church.She enjoyed fishing, gospel music and was an avid Atlanta Braves fan. Marie loved spending time with her family.She was preceded in death by her husband, Buzz Cox; parents, Guy and Bessie Christian and a sister, Nell Redmond.Surviving are her daughter, Donna Frost and husband, Shawn; son Terry Christian and wife, Patsy; grandchildren, Amy Bruner and husband, Chris, Casey Byington and wife, Michaela, Briana Christian and Haley Price and husband, Hunter; step granddaughter, Laura Davis and husband, Andy; great grandson, Parker Byington; step great grandchildren, Tristan Tremblay and Emma Davis; sister, Shirley Marshall and special friend, David Brown; brother, Wayne Christian and wife, Sue and several nieces and nephews.The family will receive friends from 5 – 7 pm Monday, June 11, 2018, at Oak Hill Funeral and Cremation Services in the Fireside Room or anytime at the residence of her daughter, Donna Frost.A Graveside Service will be held 1 pm Tuesday, June 12, 2018, at Oak Hill Memorial Park in the Garden of Meditation with Pastor Danny Sykes officiating. Music will be provided by Casey and Michaela Byington.
