Birdie M. Hite

Birdie M. Hite, 87, of Kingsport, went home to be with the Lord Saturday morning, December 23, 2017, at Holston Manor after a lengthy illness.She was born in Eidson, TN and had lived in Kingsport most of her life. Mrs. Hite was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.She loved spending time with her family, neighbors and friends.She was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Hite; step son, Vincent Hite; parents and several sisters and brothers.Surviving are her son, Billy L. Hite and wife, Renee; step son, Haskell Hite and wife, Florence; five grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.The family will receive friends from 1 – 2 pm Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at Oak Hill Funeral and Cremation Services.A Funeral Service will follow at 2 pm in the J.
