“I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.” Hebrews 13:5George Frazier, 59, of Kingsport, went home to be with Jesus on Wednesday, March 14, 2018, at Holston Valley Medical Center. He was born August 5, 1958, in Kingsport, to the late Ryland (Jack) and Dolly Million Frazier. If you knew George you were witnessing the true man he was. He was an honest man and a “straight shooter.” To know him was to love him. George was raised in the Baptist church. He was a gifted mason and mechanic and wasn’t afraid to tackle any job before him. George found great joy in aggravating his sister. The madder she became, the harder he would laugh. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents; nephews, Shane Frazier and Benjamin Ferrell; several aunts and uncles. Those left to cherish his memory are his son, David Jackson Frazier and life partner, Janet Baumgardner; grandchildren, Jackson Wayne Frazier and Serenity Avie Michelle Frazier; brothers, John R. Frazier and Matthew E. Frazier; sisters, Joan M. Frazier and life partner, Barry Bechald, Mary E. Salyer and life partner, Dennis Fuller, Sybil A. Manis and husband, Jack; uncles, Glen Million and Dennis Million (Jannett); aunt, Ruby Noe; several half aunts; several nieces and nephews; special friends, David Dewayne Price and Leala Woodward. Wayne Hamilton Memorial Chapel with Pastor Chuck Grimm officiating.Graveside and Committal Service will follow at Oak Hill Memorial Park in the Garden of Gethsemane.
