Imogene Harrison, 82, of Kingsport went home to be with the Lord Monday morning, July 16, 2018, at her residence.She was a lifelong resident of Kingsport. Mrs. Harrison graduated from Lynn View High School in 1954. She retired as a Unit Secretary from Indian Path Medical Center after 25 years of service.Mrs. Harrison enjoyed crocheting, reading, traveling and loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her parents, Harvey and Gertie Forbes.Surviving are her loving husband of 63 years, Brice Harrison; daughter, Teresa Hunt and husband, Stan; son, Tim Harrison and wife, Pauline; 4 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren and one great-great grandson.The family will receive friends from 5 - 7 pm Wednesday, July 18, 2018, at Oak Hill Funeral and Cremation Services in the J. Wayne Hamilton Memorial Chapel.A Funeral Service will follow at 7 pm in the chapel with Pastor Dwayn Williams officiating.A Graveside Service will be held at 10 am Thursday, July 19, 2018, at Oak Hill Memorial Park in the Garden of Meditation. As a kid I’ll never forget staying at aunt Gertie’s with Jean when dad went to Duke for a week with health problems. I enjoyed my stay. God’s blessings for all of the family especially you, Brice. Love you all!
