And now abideth faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love. Jerry Ramey, 64, of Kingsport, went to be with the Lord Friday, May 25, 2018, at Indian Path Medical Center.He was a lifelong resident of Kingsport. Jerry graduated from Sullivan West High School in 1972. He was a former employee of Cumberland Clarklift and retired from Yale Carolinas. He was an Ordained Minister of Children and Youth at Cedar Grove Baptist and Reservoir Road Baptist Churches. Jerry was a member of Bloomingdale Baptist Church.After retiring, Jerry became a Master Gardner. He loved teaching and helping people grow their own vegetables in raised bed gardens. He was currently President of Northeast Tennessee Master Gardners. Jerry enjoyed camping, gardening and helping others. He loved spending time with his family, friends and preparing meals for everyone to enjoy. Surviving are his loving wife of 42 years, Jennifer Estepp Ramey; son, Jeremy Ramey and wife Misty; sister, Agnes Rhodes and husband Lonnie; brother, Ronnie Ramey; special brother in law and sister in law, Stanley and Regina Estepp; special nephew, Eric Estepp and wife, Kasey and several other nieces and nephews.A Celebration of Life Graveside Service will be held at 11 am Monday, August 20, 2018, at Oak Hill Memorial Park in the Christus Garden. So sorry to. Hear that Jerry had passed. Have known him and his family for many years. Fine family. You are in my prayers
What a fine man! Jerry helped me through the Master Gardener class and I could never thank him enough. May he rest in peace, and his friends and family thank the Lord that we were privileged to know him.
