John S. Brooks Jr.

John S. Brooks, Jr., 76, of Dryden, VA, passed away Saturday, May 5, 2018, at Holston Valley Medical Center. He was born December 4, 1941, in LaGrange, GA to the late John S. Brooks Sr. and Florrie Melton Brooks.John was a good husband and father who dearly loved his grandchildren. He was self-employed as an automobile upholsterier for over forty years. Working on his street rod brought him great joy in life.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Brenda Raymer Brooks and brother, Charles Brooks.Those left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Penny Spiwak; son, John Brooks III; grandchildren, Tiffany Delosrios, Kim Spiwak, Lewis James, and Dominic Brooks; great-grandchild, Jiovianni Delosrios.Arrangements are pending and will be announced by Oak Hill Funeral & Cremation Services.Read Obituary
