Mildred Bragg

Mildred Bragg, 92, of Kingsport, passed away Monday, September 11, 2017 at Brookdale, Colonial Heights.She was born in Milburnton, TN, to the late Rev. T.E. and Blanche Goodman and had lived in the Kingsport area most of her life.Mrs. Bragg was a member of Glen Alpine United Methodist Church. She enjoyed crocheting, weaving baskets and gardening. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend.Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmie Bragg.Surviving are her children, Karen Palmer and husband, Chip, Phyllis Brooks, Vicki Kidd and husband, Isaac and Mark Bragg and wife, Sue; seven grandchildren, two great grandchildren; sister, Eula Addington; several sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law.The family will receive friends from 12 – 2 pm Friday, September 15, 2017 at Oak Hill Funeral and Cremation Services.A Celebration of Life Service will follow at 2 pm in the J. Wayne Hamilton Memorial Chapel with Rev. Richard Hayes officiating.A Graveside Service will follow at Oak Hill Memorial Park in the Garden of Resurrection.
