Minnie D. Miller

Minnie Lou Davis Miller, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, July 20, 2017, at Wellmont Hospice House, Bristol. Minnie was born on January 14, 1933, to the late Earl and Winnie Davis. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Auton Miller; two brothers, Claude Davis, Paul Davis and three sisters, Eula Dillard, Ella Jo Whittaker and Fay Brewer. Ms. Miller attended Wallace High School and was retired from J.C. Penny in Johnson City. After she retired she worked at Mountain States Hospitals for two years. She was a member of Rosedale Baptist Church. She is survived by a sister, Virginia Eldreth and several nieces and nephews. At Minnie’s request a Graveside Service will be conducted on Sunday, July 23, 2017, at 2:30 PM in the Garden of Good Shepherd of Oak Hill Memorial Park with Dr. Don Paxton officiating. Pallbearers will be her nephews, Kenny Brewer, Lorne Eldreth, Roger Brewer, and William Blevins.
