Rebecca D. White

Rebecca D. White, 56, of Church Hill, went home to be with the Lord Tuesday, November 21, 2017, at her residence after a brief illness.She was born in Kingsport to the late Roger and Dolores Alvis Perkins, Sr. and had lived in Church Hill for the past 9 years. Rebecca was formerly a General Manager with Dollar General and Front End Manager with Food City, (North Eastman Rd., Kingsport), for the past 11 years.She loved her Chihuahuas, especially, Tink. Rebecca was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Jenifer Bowen and brother, Tommy Perkins.Surviving are her loving husband of 33 years, Jon D. White; sons, Brad Hayes and Jonathon White; numerous grandchildren; sister, Katie Hope Perkins; brother, Roger Perkins, Jr. and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 2 – 4 pm Sunday, November 26, 2017 at Oak Hill Funeral and Cremation Services.A Celebration of Life Service will follow at 4 pm in the J. Wayne Hamilton Memorial Chapel with Rev. James Greever.A Graveside Service will be held at 1 pm Monday, November 27, 2017 at Oak Hill Memorial Park in Christus Garden. Pallbearers will be family and friends. Family and friends are asked to meet at the funeral home at 12 noon.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Christine LaGuardia Phillips Cancer Center, P. O.
