Shelby Shelton Holt, 75 of Johnson City, TN went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 6, 2018 at Cornerstone Village.Shelby was born in Greene County on June 21, 1942 to the late David and Emma Dean Shelton. She was a member of Tacoma Church of God and held various offices over the years. Shelby worked in Manufacturing as an administrative assistant for over 30 years. She also was a past president of the PSA and the Pilot Club. Shelby loved most of all, time spent with her children and grandchildren.Surviving are her devoted husband of 58 years, Ronald M. Holt; son, Jeff Holt (Traci) of Johnson City; grandchildren, Brian, Gracie and Sydney Holt; brothers, Frank Shelton (Susie), Bob Shelton, Mark Shelton; sisters, Helen Myers (Norman) and Lisa Wilds (Bill), all of Greeneville, several nieces, nephews and cousins.The family will receive friends from 3:00 - 5:00 pm, Sunday, March 11, 2018 at Tacoma Church of God. A Memorial Service will follow at 5:00 pm with Reverend Dwayne Pierce officiating. Music will be provided by Reverend Brice Casey.The family specifically requests in lieu of flowers that memorial contributions in Shelby’s honor be made to Tacoma Church of God, 1005 John Exum Pkwy, Johnson City, TN.
