Timothy Lynn Gilliam

Timothy Lynn Gilliam, 56, of Kingsport, passed away Thursday, April 19, 2018, at his residence. He was born February 11, 1962, in Kingsport, to the late Ralph and Ruby Smith Gilliam.Timmy was a hard worker and would help anyone at any time. He was a friendly and fun-loving man who would literally give you the “shirt off his back.”His hobbies included playing his guitar, fishing, listening to Rock N’ Roll music and spending time with his friends.He was a carpenter by trade and was presently employed at Roofmasters.Those left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Chelsea Johnston; grandson, Carter Davis; sister, Diana Gilliam; brother, Danny Gilliam and wife, Carolyn.Timmy was loved by his family and friends. His family requests that everyone remembers him with a smile and a quiet moment. There will be no formal visitation or service.
