Adam Riner

Adam L. Riner, 36, of Piney Flats, TN went to be with the Lord Wednesday, April 10, 2019, at Johnson City Medical Center. He was born April 28, 1982, in Kingsport.Adam was a loving, kind, and compassionate man who always had a positive attitude. He enjoyed being out-doors, camping and family trips to the beach. He was an avid Alabama football fan.Adam was an employee of the HSN Distribution Center, Piney Flats, TN and attended Parker’s Chapel Freewill Baptist Church, Kingsport.He was preceded in death by his father, Tony L. Riner; maternal grandparents, Jearl and Peggy Pearcy; paternal grandparents, Claude and Alice Riner; step-grandfather, Carroll Mick; uncle, James Pearcy.Those left to cherish his memory are his mother, Anita Riner Mick; step-father, Charlie Mick; step-grandmother, Trudy Mick; sister, Tonya Riner Dalton (Matthew); step-brother, Ryan Mick (Alicia); nephew, Dru Dalton; aunts, Debbie Barnette (Lonnie), Elaine Riner and Nancy Tisdale; cousins, MaryAlice Page (Neil), Nathan Manis (Paulette), Jessica Robertson (Chris) and Julia Worley.The family will receive friends Sunday, April 14, 2019, from 12:00-1:45 pm in the chapel of Oak Hill Funeral & Cremation Services. Funeral Service will be conducted at 2:00 pm with Rev. Gary Calhoun and Rev. Mark Ball officiating. Music will be under the direction of Dan Moneyhun.Graveside Service will follow at Oak Hill Memorial Park in Section N. Serving as pallbearers, Dru Dalton, Matthew Dalton, Ryan Mick, Gary Pearcy, Neil Page and Lonnie Barnette.In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.The family extends their sincere gratitude to the ICU Unit nurses at Johnson City Medical Center for their compassionate care of Adam.The care of Adam L.
