So sorry for your loss. We knew Alex when he worked with my husband, Bobby, at A&M before it became Heartland. I remember we came to your house once many years ago and I believe we grilled out with AL manning the grill. We had a great time, of course, and enjoyed meeting all of you. Several months ago we ran into Al at LA Carreta and talked with him a few minutes. It was great to see him, he was always so nice. You'll all be in our thoughts and prayers as you go through this very difficult time. - Bobby and Janice Wines

Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His saints. Ps. 116:15
What greater can be said of a believer than that he was a good and faithful servant. Faithful husband, faithful father and grandfather, faithful friend, faithful brother in the body of Christ - that was Alex Wirt. He blessed all who knew him, was the first to reach out a helping hand. His words of personal encouragement and considered wisdom lifted our hearts many times through the decades. Al was Bob's chief confidant - a once in a lifetime friend for whom we are eternally grateful. Judy, Kelly, Peter and family, we hold you close in our hearts.
Love, Bob and Betsy Nelson

So sorry to know of Al's passing. Sending much love and prayers to you all! Our hearts are sore to hear the news.

Al possessed such an inquiring mind he was not the guy for empty conversations. He sought answers and gave himself to encourage people he met along the roads as he drove his truck. I loved to hear his stories. I had the thought after he left us that he entered his rewards for all his caring and now knew just how many people had turned to Christ through his witness. He lives in our memories still.

Brenda and I were sad to hear of Al's passing but we know he is forever healed and in the presence of the Lord. He leaves behind a wonderful legacy and a lasting spiritual contribution in the lives of his children, grandchildren and others. We pray that the God of all comfort will comfort your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. God bless the Wirt and Abon family now and in the days ahead. We love you all.
