Anna Ruth Hale

Anna Ruth Hale, 72, of Blountville, went to be with the Lord, Tuesday, May 21, 2019, at Johnson City Medical Center after an extended illness.Anna was born May 15, 1947 to the late Herman and Geneva Sauls Hale. She graduated in 1974 from ETSU with an Associate Degree in Nursing. Anna was an RN having worked at several hospitals in the Tri Cities and worked in Home Health. Anna enjoyed riding motorcycles, boating, camping, fishing and going to the beach with her family and friends. Anna loved her puppies; especially “Sugar.”Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Elizabeth Carroll and two brothers, Roy Lee Laws and Harse William Laws and a nephew, Ronnie Laws. Those left to cherish her memory are significant other of 52 years, Janette Rodefer; brothers, Robert D. Laws and wife, Leota and Bennie R. Hale and wife, Sharon; special niece, Sharon Laws Gilreath; special nephews, Tony Richard Laws and Johnny D. Copas and several nieces and nephews.A Gathering of Remembrance will be from 5:00 pm – 6:45 pm Thursday, May 23, 2019, in the J. Wayne Memorial Chapel at Oak Hill Funeral and Cremation Services.A Celebration of Life Service will follow at 7:00 pm with Rev. Brian Birchfield, Bro. Johnny D. Copas and Chaplain Sarah Laskey. A Eulogy will be given by Kim Parrish. Music will be provided by Bro. Johnny D. Copas.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Janette Rodefer.The family would like to extend a special thank you to ICU nurses and staff of Johnson City Medical Center and her family and friends love, care and compassion.
