Anthony Carrico

Anthony “Tony” Carrico, 60, of Kingsport, passed away Sunday, March 29, 2019 at Russell County Medical Center after a long illness.He was born in Norton, VA, graduated from Clintwood High School in 1976 and had lived in Kingsport for the past 35 years.Tony worked at Alley’s Chrysler-Dodge as a salesman and was a disc jockey at WQUT going by Mark Anthony.He enjoyed all sports, nice cars, listening to music and playing his drums. Tony loved going to the Praise & Worship Church, Wise, VA.He was preceded in death by his biological father, Willis Carrico and adoptive father, Richard L. Marcus.Surviving are his daughter, Jonna Marcus; grandchildren Kimber Amos and Jacob Amos; mother, Jo Ann Freeman Marcus; sister, Annette Slattery; brothers, Tim Carrico and Dale Carrico; several nieces, nephews and cousins.A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, April 20, 2019, at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, St. Paul, Virginia.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Christine LaGuardia Phillips Cancer Center, P. O.
