Such precious memories!
Alan and family,
I am truly sorry for your loss. I do remember your mom and what a fine person she was. We have many Presbyterian friends that have crossed paths with your mom and Sharon too. I pray for healing and comfort for each of you!

She was a wonderful Aunt. She and my mother( her sister,Clara) were very close, and she helped us so much when my Mom was very sick . We loved her and will miss her lovely spirit and many kindnesses to our family
Joe and family, May our Lord Jesus comfort you in this time of loss. Betty was a lovely lady with a kind heart and awesome smile.
I have many fond memories of Betty and Joe during our years at Bethel.
Betty was a mentor to me when I was first elected to the Session at Bethel. I was her co-chair on the Congregational and fellowship committee. Betty handed several of the duties over to me and guided me in the way things should be done. I will always think of her as Joe's beautiful bride for that is how he would always ask if I wanted to talk to Betty when I would call. My prayers are with Joe and the rest of Betty's family for she was a special lady and will be missed by all.

From Donna and Bill Sade: our love and prayers are sent to the Davy family. Sharing a prayer —-
Dear Lord, Carry our friend Betty in Your arms.
Let her lean against your chest.
Let her listen to Your heart beating and feel Your breath on her cheek as You whisper, “I’ve got you my child; I will keep you with me. I won’t sit you down until you are strong enough to stand.”
Carry her, Lord in Your arms.
Lift her above the pain and sadness she has been carrying.
Lift her high, Lord, so she can breathe deeply of the heavens.
Lift her so she can see with Your eyes and understand why the past has shaped her and that the future is in Your hands.
Lord, as you carry her, tell her how much we loved her.
Help her to understand how much we will miss her.
Let her know the many times we laughed and prayed together were a blessing and brought us joy.
Lord, let her know this part of her journey is part of Your plan.
In this, Lord, we can find peace in the valley.
Lord, carry her in Your arms.
Keep her safe, make her whole, and then plant her feed on solid ground, so she may sing your praises for eternity.
We thank You, Lord, for letting us share this part of her journey.
Amen. (By G. Sheldon)
