Betty S. Bledsoe Edmonds, 74, of Kingsport, was born on April 3, 1945 and went to be with the Lord Saturday, November 16, 2019, at Holston Valley Hospital with her loving family by her side and with thoughts and prayers of those who couldn’t be present. Betty was of the Baptist Faith. She enjoyed many wonderful years at her home in Sullivan Gardens; while cherishing her roots as a native Southwest Virginian.Betty enjoyed traveling, was an avid interior decorator and loved spending time with her family, especially her poodles, “Joseph” and “Peaches.”She was preceded in death by her parents, William Grady Bledsoe, Sr. and wife, Monnie Mae.Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Alise’ M. Edmonds and Robert C. Edmonds, Jr.; brother, William Bledsoe, Jr.; sister, Lois Persinger; nieces, Lori and Susie; nephew, Brent and several cousins.A Celebration of Life Gathering will be from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm Thursday, November 21, 2019, at Valley of Hope Church, 2035 Gregory Rd, Kingsport, TN 37665.The care of Betty S.
