Betty Jean Neurdenburg, 87, of Kingsport, went to be with the Lord Saturday, August 13, 2022, at N.H.C.She was born August 19, 1934, in Springfield, WV to the late John and Izora Brown Martin.Betty was a loving, caring and giving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother and sister. She was very proud of the Christian gentlemen her sons, Billy and Chuck had become.Betty was a committed Christian and fervent “prayer warrior” who enjoyed ministering the Gospel of Jesus Christ with her sister, Ginger. She was a member of Grace Point Fellowship, Kingsport.In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her husband, William R. Neurdenburg, Sr.; siblings, Melvin B. Martin, Viola Carpenter and Ginger Cain.Those left to cherish Betty’s memory are her sons, Billy Neurdenburg (Phyllis) and Chuck Neurdenburg; grandchildren, Holly Wagner (Casey), Elizabeth Haga (Brian), Joshua Neurdenburg, Brandi Wallace (Rusty) and Misty Stafford (Mark); step-granddaughter, Kristie Hutson; great-grandchildren, Ava Corum, Bo Corum, Emma Potter, Oliver Bennett and Emmalyn Wallace; several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.The family will receive friends Tuesday, August 16, 2022, from 11:00 am-12:45 pm at Grace Point Fellowship, 130 V.F.W. Road, Kingsport, TN 37663.A Celebration of Life Service will begin at 1:00 pm with Dr. Phil Hoskins and Pastor Paul Warrick officiating.The Graveside Service will follow at 2:30 pm at East Lawn Memorial Park. Serving as pallbearers, Gary Carpenter, Jerry Duncan, Chad Peters, Joe Herron, Jim Larson and Steve Peters.
