Brenda J. Hartgrove

Brenda J. Hartgrove, 73, of Church Hill, went home to be with the Lord, Saturday, July 13, 2019, at Holston Valley Medical Center after a brief illness.She lived most of her life in Kingsport and spent the last few years in Church Hill.Mrs. Hartgrove was a member of Kingdom Way Church of God. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.Mrs. Hartgrove was preceded in death by her husband, Scott Hartgrove; parents, John and Elizabeth Dingus; and brothers, John Dingus, Jr. and Gary Dingus.Those left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Billie Fletcher and husband, Gene Fletcher and Tracy Couch and husband, Jason; grandchildren, Jordan Gamble and husband, Matt, Correy Lanning and husband, Caleb, Christian Fletcher, Bryanna Couch and Brooke Couch; great granddaughter, Taylor Gamble; sisters, Ann Lawson, Darlene Tate and Debbie Hyatt and husband, Bob Hyatt, Donna Starnes; brother, Claude Dingus and wife, Mary; several nieces and nephews.The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm – 1:45 pm Tuesday, July 16, 2019, at Oak Hill Funeral and Cremation Services in the J. Wayne Hamilton Memorial Chapel.A Celebration of Life Service will follow at 2:00 pm with Rev. Gene Fletcher officiating. Music will be provided by Rev. Gene Fletcher. A Private Family Graveside Service will follow in Oak Hill Memorial Park.
