Buford L. Robinson

Buford L. Robinson, 90, of Kingsport, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 2, 2018, at his home with his family by his side.Mr. Robinson was born on January 9, 1928, to the late Early Grate and Ibby Keith Robinson in Clintwood, Virginia. He was a WWII Navy Veteran stationed in Guam. Buford loved the Lord as was evident by his knowledge of scripture, serving over the years, teaching Sunday school and singing with the Robinson Quartet and Gospel Bells.Mr. Robinson was preceded in death by one son, Jeffery Arthur Robinson; two brothers and two sisters.Surviving are his loving and devoted wife, Jane Robinson; sons, Randy A. Robinson (Suzi) and Rickey E. Robinson; two grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and one brother.The family will receive friends on Tuesday, November 6, 2018 from 12:00 – 1:00 pm in the chapel at Oak Hill Funeral and Cremations Services. The Funeral Service will follow at 1:00 pm with Chaplain Michael Driver officiating.Military Committal Services will follow, conducted by the American Legion Hammond Post 3/265 at the Chapel Mausoleum, Oak Hill Memorial Park.
