Carl G. Hale, 86, of Kingsport, passed away Friday, April 12, 2019, at Greystone Healthcare, Blountville, TN.Carl was born on October 27, 1932, in Kingsport, to the late Emory and Callie Smith Hale. He worked and retired from the Research Department of the Eastman Corporation. Carl was a proud Veteran of the United States Army.He was preceded in death by his wife, Twyla Beck Hale; brothers, Earl, Roy and Ober.Those left to cherish his memory are is son, David Hale and wife Jerri; daughter, Leslie Hale; grandson, Bryan Hale; brother-in-law, Jerry Beck and wife Louise; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.A Graveside Service will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, April 16, 2019, at Oak Hill Memorial Park. David, Leslie and family.

As you know, I considered Carl a very special friend and spent many many hours talking and enjoying his company during our years at Eastman.
