Carol Baier

Carol A. Baier, 70, went to be with the Lord Friday, August 7, 2020, at her residence surrounded by her loving family.Carol was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother and sister. She was a devout Christian lady who always put others first. Carol fought and over-came many medical challenges bravely and valiantly. She was very creative, artistic and enjoyed crafts. Carol was especially fond of birds and enjoyed baking her famous apple pies.Carol was a former day care owner and worked in the medical field for many years.Mrs. Baier was a member of Saint Dominic’s Catholic Church.She was preceded in death by her mother, Esther Styers; step-father, Claire Styers; special grandmother, Ms. Shade.Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Joseph E. Baier; sons, Joseph M. Baier and wife, Sherry, Jonathan P. Baier and wife, Tomoko; grandson, Nikko Baier; sisters, Linda, Barb, Donna and Janet; brothers, Jerry and Charles; grand dog, Isaac; special nephew, P.C. Adams; several other nieces and nephews also survive.The family will receive friends Thursday, August 13, 2020, from 1:00-2:00 pm in the chapel of Oak Hill Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted at 2:00 pm with Pastor Larry Moll officiating.
