Carol Laye Goad

Carol Laye Goad, 75, of Kingsport, went peacefully to her heavenly home Friday, September 9, 2022, with her loving family by her side.Carol was passionate about sharing the love of our Lord with others. She was a member of Higher Ground Baptist Church where she loved to sing in the choir. Everyone that knew and loved her knew her as ‘Mammy’.Now that Carol, has passed into the arms of our Lord, we should remind ourselves that while this is the end of Carol’s physical life on Earth, it’s the beginning of an eternal and beautiful journey for her. She is singing with the angels.Celebration of Life Service will be held on Tuesday, September 13, 2022, at Higher Ground Baptist Church at 7:00 pm with viewing starting at 5:00 pm. Dr. Phil Hoskins will officiate and the Higher Ground Baptist Church choir will sing and worship.The Entombment Service will be at Oak Hill Memorial Park on September 14, 2022, at 11am with Pastor Bob Underwood officiating the service.
