I remember one hot Summer day, Chappy was coming into Our Club House having just finished playing 18 Holes of Golf, and I was heading out to play 9 Holes. I asked him how he played, and he replied "I had a bad day due to the heat." I asked him what his score was, and he answered 84. I had to laugh as I would be lucky to shot fifty, despite the fact that he was in his 90s, while I was in my 70s! He was one of a kind and will be missed by many!

David, so sorry to hear of your dad's passing. Dad told me at lunch today that he had received a call from one of the other Friday lunch group members that your dad had passed. They will miss him.
