Charles R. Strong, Jr., 85, of Kingsport, passed away Sunday, April 19, 2020, at Holston Valley Medical Center. He was born March 2, 1935, in Kingsport, to the late Charles R. Strong, Sr. and Macie Culbertson Strong.Charles was a kind and considerate man who was a committed Christian. He enjoyed fishing and was an avid cat lover.Charles retired from Flowers Bakery and Coca Cola Bottling Company.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Analee Strong Conley.Those left to cherish his memory are his nephew, Gary Conley and wife, Trudy of Roebuck, S.C.A private family Entombment Service will be conducted Thursday, April 23, 2020, in Mausoleum I at Oak Hill Memorial Park.
