Michael Wilson, 49, of Kingsport, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, November 19, 2021.Michael was born in Kingsport on October 13, 1972, to Clarence Wilson (deceased) and Ina Wilson Castle.He was extremely artistic and intelligent, who spent most of his time painting and playing video games. Michael worked for AFG Glass, Grand Home Furnishings, Dominos and Five Guys. He was a gentle and kind man who kept to himself who loved his family dearly. Michael was an organ donor.Left to cherish his memory are his sons, Christian Wilson and Gabe Wilson (Lynn Roberts); mother, Ina Castle (Papa Jim); siblings, Kathy Jones (Kelsey), Linda Sluss (Paul), Betty Buckner (Jerry Moore), Sarah Koehler (Kris), Beth Lovell (Ken), Lewis Castle and Angie Lemmon (Don); several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.Graveside Services will be conducted at 12:00 pm, Tuesday, November 23, 2021, in Christus Garden at Oak Hill Memorial Park with Papa Jim officiating.To share memories and condolences with the family please visit www.oakhillfh.comThe care of Michael Wilson and his family has been entrusted to the staff of Oak Hill Funeral & Cremation Services.Read Obituary

Mike was one of my best employees at Five Guys, he was extremely dependable to do a wonderful job everyday. I considered Mike not only a co-worker, but a good friend. He really enjoyed painting his figurines, loved showing us his progress and the finished product. RIP Big Mike, you’re no longer suffering buddy. My condolences and prayers to his family.
