Colton Tyler Salley

July 29, 1984 - October 18, 2019

Colton Tyler Salley, 35, of Kingsport, passed away Friday, October 18, 2019, at Holston Valley Hospital. He was a lifelong resident of Kingsport. Tyler graduated from Dobyns-Bennett High School in 2002 and from Northeast State Community College in 2006. Tyler was a shift supervisor at Agero. He enjoyed being outdoors and loved spending time with his family and friends, especially his son, Kacyn. Tyler was a loving father, son, brother and friend. He was a born again Christian and of the Baptist faith. Tyler was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Harold and Atha Simpson; paternal grandmother, Beuna Salley and paternal grandfather, Edgar Salley. Those left to cherish his memory are his son, Kacyn Brooks Salley; parents, Larry and Debbie Salley; brothers, Wesley Hall and Jason Salley; two nieces; one nephew and a great niece. A Private Family Entombment will be at Oak Hill Memorial Park in the Oak Hill 1 Mausoleum. A Celebration of Life will be from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm Saturday, October 26, 2019 in the Springdale Baptist Church Fellowship Hall, 1616 Haga Rd., Kingsport, TN 37660. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or online at www.stjude.org The family would like to extend a sincere thank you to family and friends for their prayers, comforting words and outpouring expressions of sympathy. The care of Colton Tyler Salley and his family has been entrusted to Oak Hill Funeral and Cremation Services.
