Cynthia Gallimore, 53, of Kingsport, went home to be with the Lord Friday, September 15, 2017 at Holston Valley Medical Center. She was born in Arcadia, California and had lived in Kingsport since 2006.Cynthia loved Jesus and her church, First Assembly of God, where she sang on special occasions.Cynthia was a self-employed business woman who loved helping others. She was dedicated to helping others have clean, healthy drinking water as an Independent Representative Multi-Pure Drinking Water Systems since 1994.She loved to sing and did so every chance she had. Cynthia loved life and showed kindness to all she met. She had a tremendous heart full of love, joy and laughter. Cynthia loved her cats and loved all animals.She was a beautiful, loyal and devoted wife for 21 years. Cynthia was strong woman who fought a long, hard 10 year battle with cancer; she never gave up.She was preceded in death by her father, William E. Carter.Surviving are her loving husband of 21 years, Roger Dale Gallimore; mother, Ruth DeGrazia; maternal grandmother, Anne Jennings; sister, Laura Carter; brothers, Lindsay Carter and Ronald DeGrazia and many loving aunts, uncles and cousins.The family will receive friends from 11 am – 12 pm Thursday, September 21, 2017 at Oak Hill Funeral and Cremation Services.A Celebration of Life Service will follow at 12 pm in the J. Wayne Hamilton Memorial Chapel with Pastor Paul Wright officiating.A Graveside Service will follow at Oak Hill Memorial Park.
