Bluff City, TN – David Marvin Price, 50, of Bluff City, was welcomed in the arms of Jesus with his dad, Marvin Price, by his side, Wednesday, November 6, 2019.David was born in Rogersville, had lived in Kingsport most of his life until he moved to Bluff City in 2001.David graduated from Sullivan North High School in 1987 and attended Tennessee Tech University.He was a member of Orebank Baptist Missionary Baptist Church.David enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing, being outdoors and was an avid UT Vols fan. He loved spending time with his family and cherished the memory of times with his dad.David was preceded in death by his dad, Marvin Ralph Price; maternal grandparents, Engle and Frances Bates and paternal grandparents, W.E. “June Bug” and Hazel Price, Jr.The family left to celebrate David’s life are wife, Robin Burke Price, step children, Ryan Burke, Lindy Salyers and husband, Dustin and Kenzie Thomas; step grandchildren, Brennan, Rylan and Emersyn; mother, Mary Bates Price; sisters, Tammy Odom and husband, Chuck and Toni Crawford and husband, Jason; nephew and nieces, Andrew Odom and wife, Hannah, Emily Vradenburgh and husband, Rodger and Ellen Odom; great nieces, Alice, Annabelle and Jane; several uncles, aunts and cousins.The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm – 6:45 pm Monday, November 11, 2019, at Orebank Missionary Baptist Church, 5930 Orebank Rd., Kingsport, TN 37664.A Celebration of Life Service will follow at 7:00 pm with Dr. David Smith officiating.A Private Family Graveside Service will be held at Choptack Baptist Church Cemetery, Rogersville.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in David’s name, may be made to the National Alliance on Mental Health; NAMI, 1101 Kermit Dr., Ste 605, Nashville, TN 37217 or online at www.namitn.orgThe care of David Marvin Price and his family has been entrusted to the staff of Oak Hill Funeral and Cremation Services.Read Obituary
