David Spencer

David Spencer, 82, of Church Hill, TN, passed away at home February 25, 2018, surrounded by family after an extended illness. He was born in McRoberts, KY on May 21, 1935 to the late Wesley Spencer and Lela (Mullins) Spencer.David retired from Holliston Mills after 37 years of service. He was an avid University of Tennessee and Cleveland Indians sports fan.David was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Juanita Hanna, Joyce Hipsher and Sybil Spencer and a brother, John Spencer.He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Judith Ann Spencer; two sons, Chris Spencer and wife, Pam and Mark Spencer and wife, Kristina; grandchildren, Kelsey Spencer, Courtney Spencer, Derek Flanigan and Chadra Thacker; brother, William Spencer; sisters, Thelma Smith and Margaret Cowan and several nieces and nephews.The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 pm, Tuesday, February 27, 2018. Funeral Services will follow at 7:00 pm in the J. Wayne Hamilton Memorial Chapel at Oak Hill Funeral and Cremation Services with Pastor Wayne Baker officiating.Graveside Services will be conducted at 1:00 pm, Wednesday, February 28, 2018 in the Garden of Everlasting Life at Oak Hill Memorial Park.
