David H. Vaughn, 67, of Kingsport, passed away Saturday, October 31, 2020, at his residence. He was born February 26, 1953, in Kingsport, to the late Audley and Deloris Ferguson Vaughn.David was “big hearted” and a hard worker who enjoyed eating and telling jokes. He enjoyed running in his younger years and he also enjoyed riding his Indian motorcycle. David was an accomplished auto mechanic.He was a proud veteran of the U.S. Army and retired from Eastman Chemical Company following eighteen years of service.David was especially fond of his pitbull, Rose.Those left to cherish his memory are his son, Shane Vaughn and wife, Lulu; grandchildren, Sarah Vaughn, Daniel Vaughn, Landon Vaughn and Hannah Boyd; great-grandchildren, Emitt Kelly and Isabelle Deerstone; brother, Terry Vaughn; several nieces and nephews; special friends, Ronnie Adams and Dewey Ramey.A Graveside Service with full military honors will be scheduled at Mountain Home National Cemetery, Mountain Home, TN at a later date.To leave an online condolence for the family please visit www.oakhillfh.comThe care of David H. David was one of a kind. We have alot of good laughs at work. He was the best friend to have. We could fight and laugh all at once. His Indian and his pit bull was a love like no other. I will miss you Dawg!!
