Debbie Ramey, 64, of Kingsport, went to be with the Lord Friday, December 20, 2019, at her residence with her loving family by her side.She was born July 2, 1955, in Sullivan County, TN to the late George and Mary Taylor Pyle.Debbie was a loving, humble, caring and compassionate lady who always had a smile. She consistently looked for the good in others.Debbie enjoyed fishing, reading and she was especially fond of mountains.She was known as a “mother” to many children whom she loved dearly but her son, Brandon brought her the greatest joy in life and Debbie considered him a “God send.”Debbie served as an R.N. for forty years and was gifted to minister to her patients in a very special way.She was a faithful member of Lynn Garden Evangelical Methodist Church.Those left to cherish her memory are her loving husband, J.D. Ramey; son, Brandon Ramey; sister, Mary Darnell and husband, Junior; brother, Kermit Pyle and wife, Carol; several nieces and nephews also survive.Upon Debbie’s request no services will be held.The care of Debbie Ramey and her family has been entrusted to the staff of Oak Hill Funeral & Cremation Services.Read Obituary
My husband and I just found out about the loss of Debbie. She was our nurse at Dr. Way's office and was the most cheerful nurse we ever knew. She has been missed since her retirement but our hearts are broken to hear of her death. Heaven is having much more fun now and we have lost so much. Deb was a good friend, nice, sweet and caring. Deb has no more pain and is no longer suffering. She will be missed by everyone that knew her.

Debbie and I shared many memorable conversations in the last few months.They will be treasured all ways.
She came to help us when Daddy had his stroke and was a mediator for us and the doctor explaining and helping us understand everything. She was a sweetheart.
