Dessie Mae “Bootsie” Greer Ennis, 91, of Kingsport, went to be with the Lord Saturday, February 4, 2023, with her loving family by her side.She retired form Holston Valley Hospital following over twenty-one years of service.Dessie was preceded in death by her parents, Coy and Blanche Greer; sister, Betty McMurray; brothers, L.B. Greer, G.C. Greer and John Wayne Greer; sons, Gary Ennis and Michael Ennis.She is survived by her daughter, Cathy Webb; son, Dennis Ennis; grandchildren, Gary Ennis, Madalyn Ennis Baker, Jason Ennis, Travis Ennis, David Webb, Tonya Webb Snyder and Johnny Webb; several great-grandchildren; niece, Sharon Vaughn; nephews, Eddie McMurray, Mike, Tony, Greg and Jeff Greer; several cousins also survive.The family will receive friends Tuesday, February 7, 2023, from 6:00-7:00 pm in the funeral home chapel.A Celebration of Life Service will follow at 7:00 pm with Greg and Alex Greer officiating.Graveside Service will be conducted Wednesday, February 8, 2023 at 10:00 am at Oak Hill Memorial Park.To share memories and condolences with the family please visit www.oakhillfh.comThe care of Dessie Mae “Bootsie” Greer Ennis and her family has been entrusted to the staff of Oak Hill Funeral & Cremation Services.Read Obituary
