Our mother, Dorothy Evelyn Cunningham, 88, of Kingsport, passed away on Thursday, January 10, 2019.“There is no greater love than a mother’s love for her children. We were blessed to have one of the greatest mothers. We grew up with very little, but we had our mom’s love which was enough to sustain us. Mom was not very educated, but she was a remarkable mother and wife. Our father passed away at an early age, and the responsibility of raising two boys fell solely on our mother’s shoulders. She did an amazing job! Thank you mom for all of your hard work and sacrifices throughout your life.” Your sons, Charles and SamDorothy is survived by her sons, Charles and Sam Cunningham; brothers, Jerry and Randall Lane; sisters, Shirley Thacker and Faye Duncan; and grandson Grayson Cunningham.The care of Dorothy Evelyn Cunningham and her family has been entrusted to Oak Hill Funeral & Cremation Services.Read Obituary
