Elizabeth Ann Patrick, 90, of Kingsport passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 27, 2020, surrounded by her family at Crown Cypress Assisted Living.Elizabeth was born on October 31, 1929, in the Indian Springs community of Sullivan County to the late Frank and Rosa Hackiday Wagner. She was of the Baptist faith and was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. In addition to her parents, Elizabeth was preceded in death by her husband, Jack L. Patrick; son, Timothy Patrick; and four brothers.Left to cherish Elizabeth’s memory are her daughter, Pamela Eslinger; sons, Jack L. Patrick, Jr. (Teresa) and Randy K. Patrick; grandchildren, Amanda Cooper (Chuck), Pastor Preston Patrick (Sarah), Matthew Eslinger (Chelsey), Jessica Patrick, Mikah Eslinger (Chrissy), Meghan Eslinger and Sarah Patrick; nine great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Hazel Wagner and Carol Patrick; several nieces, nephews and cousins.The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm, Saturday, May 30, 2020, in the J. Wayne Hamilton Memorial Chapel, Oak Hill Funeral and Cremation Services. A Celebration of Elizabeth’s Life will begin at 2:00 pm with her grandson, Pastor Preston Patrick, officiating. Music will be provided by the Vernon Heights Quartet . Mrs. Patrick will be entombed beside her husband, Jack, in Mausoleum I at Oak Hill Memorial Park.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Elizabeth’s honor the St. Jude’s by visiting www.stjude.orgThe family would like to express their gratitude to the staff of Crown Cypress Assisted Living and the nurses of Ballad Hospice for the care and compassion shown to Elizabeth and her family.The care of Elizabeth Ann Patrick and her family has been entrusted to the staff of Oak Hill Funeral and Cremation Services.Read Obituary
