Elizabeth Katherine Roth

Elizabeth Katherine Roth passed away on Sunday, July 4th, 2021, in Kingsport, TN at ninety-nine years of age.Elizabeth was born on June 27th, 1922, in Indianapolis, IN. Elizabeth was a homemaker while living in Columbus, IN. She was a member of the Columbus O.N.O. Home Demonstration Club as well as the Columbus Fireman’s Auxiliary.Elizabeth was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Columbus, IN and the First United Methodist Church in Tavares, FL. Leslie and Elizabeth Roth lived in Columbus, IN, where they raised their children. They retired to Tavares, FL, in 1978. Leslie and Elizabeth moved to Kingsport, TN, in 2003. Elizabeth enjoyed oil and water color painting, reading and fishing. Her family will cherish the impact her sweet soul made in their lives.She was preceded in death by her parents, Herman and Esther Hiles. Also preceding Elizabeth in death was her husband, Leslie Devere Roth, who was a Navy pilot and firefighter.Elizabeth is survived by her three children, four granddaughters and one great granddaughter: Rex Roth in Granger, IN, Ginger Roth Newell in Kingsport, TN, Mark Roth in Columbus, IN, Amy Roth in Noblesville, IN, Amanada Roth in Newville, PA, Meka Newell Smith (Michael) in Destin, FL, Chantal Newell-Light (Chad) and Waylyn Light in Jonesborough, TN.A Memorial Service will be scheduled at a future date in Columbus, IN.The care of Elizabeth Katherine Roth has been entrusted to the staff of Oak Hill Funeral & Cremation Services.Read Obituary
