Eric Wayne Necessary

Eric Wayne Necessary, 32, of Kingsport, passed away on Sunday, June 9, 2019, at Indian Path Medical Center.Eric was born June 15, 1986 in Kingsport, Tennessee. He enjoyed attending drag races with his father, and he was a devoted father and friend. Eric was a very private person, and his greatest joy in life was loving and caring for his daughter, Heather.He was preceded in death by his aunt, Tammy Barnette; love of his life, Bobby Arnett Boggs; and his grandfathers, Tom Overbay and J.B. White.Those left to cherish Eric’s memory are his daughter, Heather Renee Necessary; step-daughter, Samantha Boggs; step-son, William Boggs; mother, Tina Renee Necessary (Mike Lockwood); father, Robert Overbay (April); grandmother, Betty White; grandfather, Johnny Willard Necessary (Joanne); brother, David Allen Overbay; sister, Casey Dawn Hinkle; step-brother, Jonathan Parson.A Memorial Service will be conducted on Saturday, June 15, 2019 at the Jaycee Park in Church Hill, TN, from 1:00 pm until 4:00 pm.The family extends their sincere gratitude to the 5th floor staff of Indian Path Medical Center for their compassionate care of Eric.The care of Eric Wayne Necessary and his family has been entrusted to the staff of Oak Hill Funeral & Cremation Services.Read Obituary
