Our loving Mother went to be with Jesus on August 29, 2022. She was born to Joe P. and Terry Shuler in Olinger, VA in 1934. She was married for 48 years to Ralph Henry McCann and lived in Vermilion, Ohio for 25 years before retiring to North Carolina. Together they had 6 children, Deborah Gail (Bruce), Glenda Lou Rowe, Stanley Ralph (Mary Jane), Ronald Allen (Cathleen), William Joseph, Randall Keith (Leslie). She has fifteen grandchildren (Deborah) Steve Buchanan, Amy Berberick, Julie Williams, William (Billy) Martz; (Glenda) Melissa Smith, Angela Pennington, Tammy Pierro; (Stan) Adrean Clark, Jessie McCann; (Ron) Devon McCann; (Bill) John McCann, Brittany Harness; (Randy) Megan McCann, Rachel McCann, Kayla Smith. She has 35 great-grandchildren and 9 great-great grandchildren and many nephews and nieces.She is survived by her sisters, Edith Robbins of Rogersville, TN and Ann Robinson of Ashe Camp, KY. Preceded in death by her beloved husband, Ralph; son, Bill; also her parents, Joe and Terry Shuler; brothers, Noah, Eugene and Truman. Mom was devoted to decorating the graves for her parents and family members in the Shuler Family Cemetery. Estelle was a loving mother to her children and was always ready with biscuits for neighborhood kids while living in Vermilion Ohio. Love was the word that best describes Mom as she was always had a kind word, a smile and most often a gift especially for her grandchildren. She enjoyed making numerous quilts even up to the last year of her life to be sure her children had a special quilt. She loved the Lord, the game of Farkle (family champion) and WWE. We will greatly miss her but her family stories will be repeated when we gather and she will always be in our hearts.A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Tuesday, September 6, 2022, at Oak Hill Funeral Home in Kingsport, TN at 12 noon with viewing starting at 11 AM. Pastor Kenny Marshburn will officiate.Burial will follow at Oak Hill Memorial Park.
