Frances Louise Jones

Frances Louise Stallard Jones, 87, of Kingsport, passed away Wednesday, November 6, 2019, after a lengthy illness. She was born February 22, 1932, in Nickelsville, VA and had lived in Kingsport for many years.Frances retired from the Kingsport Press and was a member of Midway Baptist Church, Midway, VA. She loved to Bunca, embroidery and work in her flowers.Frances was preceded in death by her husband, Charles L. Jones; daughters, Linda Louise Jones, Deborah Sue Jones Manis; son, Lonnie Jones; mother, Carrie Kilgore Stallard; father and step-mother, Malcolm and Beulah Stallard; sister, Ruth Stallard; great-granddaughter, Tylisha Phillips.Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Sherry Lark (Gary), Lloyd Jones (Judy) and Larry Jones (Anita); son-in-law, Jimmy Manis; grandchildren, Larry Wayne Rhoten (Angela), Ladonna Rhoten, fiance’, Adrian Walker, Jeff Jones (Kerrie), Christy Bailey (Chad), Jamie Manis, fiance’, Amy Benton, Amy Manis, Brandan Looney (Joe), Larry Wayne Jones, Jr., April Bishop (Jeff),Candy Young (Kenny); great-grandchildren, Austin Leftwitch, Tyla Phillips, Caycee Phillips, Josh Manis, Nate and Wrett Bishop, Wyatt Looney, Samuel Parker Young; sister, Peggy Spangler; special friends, Mary Ann Sewell and Wilma Namendorf.The family will receive friends Saturday, November 9, 2019, from 4:00-5:45 pm in the chapel of Oak Hill Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will follow at 6:00 pm with Rev. Marvin Eagan and Pastor George Willis, Jr. officiating. Music will be provide by Dinah Hicks.A Graveside Service will be conducted Sunday, November 10, 2019, at 2:00 pm at Oak Hill Memorial Park in the Garden of the Last Supper.
