Frances Stidham Redman

Frances Stidham Redman, 72, of Mount Carmel, went to be with her Lord & Savior, Jesus Christ, Saturday February 8, 2020, at her residence surrounded by her loving family.Mrs. Redman was born in Norton, VA and had lived in Mount Carmel most of her life.She worked several years as a nursing assistant for Dr. Douglas G. Burmeister. Mrs. Redman was of the Apostolic faith.She enjoyed being a seamstress making her own clothes, embroidering, making afghans, going to garage sales and working in her flower garden.Mrs. Redman was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, friend and loved spending time with her family.She was preceded in death by her parents, Floyd and Hester Wampler Stidham. Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 57 years, Bishop Freddie Redman, Sr.; sons, Freddie L. Redman, Jr. and wife, Sonya, and Nathan Redman and fiancé, Patsy Sloan; grandchildren, Kiersten Cipro and husband, Billy, Courtney, Madelaine and Molly Redman; great grandchildren, Leyland and Maizie; sisters, Barbara Sturgill, Eloise Dobbs, Lucille Roberts, Nellie Barnett and Kathy Reedy and husband, Farron; brothers, Curtis Stidham, Wesley Stidham and wife, Edna, and Cecil Stidham; several nieces, nephews and cousins.Friends may call anytime at the residence of Freddie Redman, Sr.A Private Family Funeral Service will be held at Oak Hill Funeral and Cremation Services.Mrs. Redman will be laid to rest at Oak Hill Memorial Park in the Oak Hill IV Mausoleum.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the doctors and nurses at the Ballad Health Cancer Center on John B.
