Frances Annalee Salyer, 85, of Kingsport, passed away Wednesday, January 29, 2020, at her residence after a lengthy illness.She was born November 12, 1934, in Russell Co., VA. Annalee moved to Kingsport in 1943 and graduated from Lynn View High School in 1953.She was employed in 1953 by Tennessee Eastman Co. and retired in 1994 from Eastman Kodak in the Purchasing Dept.Annalee was a member of Ketron Memorial United Methodist Church where she sang faithfully in the choir.She was preceded in death by her parents, Arnold (Myrtle Jessee) Salyer; sisters, Marie (Gene) Sparks and Ruth (Paul) Burke; brothers, Dallas (Eunice) Salyer and Harold (Helen) Salyer; nephew, Tommy Salyer and grand nephew, Jeffrey Salyer. Annalee is survived by nephews, Ron (Sherry Catron) Salyer and David (Penny Matlock) Salyer; nieces, Sharon Burke Herr, Lisa Sparks (Jeff) Morelock and Connie Sparks Rogers; niece in law, Joyce Morgan Salyer; grandnieces, Jennifer Salyer Johnson, Kristen Salyer (Frank) Carter, Cassidy Morelock, Caitlyn Morelock and Laura Burke (Jeff) Michaels; great grandnieces, Ella Large and Della Michaels; grandnephews, Brian Salyer, Matthew Salyer, Cody (Julianna) Morelock, Andy (Rachel) Large, Joe Herr; great grandnephews, Aaron Johnson, Austin Salyer, Jordan (Elizabeth) Salyer, Jonathan (Callie) Salyer, Corey Carter, Samuel Carter and Noah Large; great-great grandnieces, Kim Salyer, Oakley Salyer, Keela Edwards and special cousin, Garland (Jean) Osborne.A Private Family Graveside Service will be held Monday February 3, 2020, at Oak Hill Memorial Park.A Visitation will be from 3:00 pm to 3:45 pm Monday February 3, 2020, at Oak Hill Funeral Home in the J. Wayne Hamilton Memorial Chapel.A Memorial Service will follow at 4:00 pm with Pastor Joshua Swanson officiating.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Ketron Memorial United Methodist Church, 301 Virgil Ave., Kingsport, TN 37665.The family would like to extend a special thank you to her faithful caregivers, through the years of Annalee’s illness, Sharon Fowler, Barbara Peters, Savannah Williams, LaVern Addington and Mae Moore.The care of Frances Annalee Salyer and her family has been entrusted to the staff of Oak Hill Funeral and Cremation Services.
