Gavin Ross Carter, 14, of Kingsport, was called to his perfect rest on Thursday, May 12, 2022, at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born July 27, 2007, in Kingsport, TN. Gavin was a “borrowed treasure” that brought great joy to his family. He loved spending time with his brothers. He attended New Destiny Ministry Center. Those left to cherish Gavin’s memory are his parents, Ken and Hannah Carter; brothers, Abram Carter, Evan Carter and Austin Carter; many other loving family members survive. The family will receive friends Saturday, May 14, 2022, from 3:00-4:00 pm at New Destiny Ministry Center, 385 Bancroft Chapel Road, Kingsport, TN 37660. A Celebration of Life Service will follow at 4:00 pm with Pastor Jerrod Manning officiating. A GoFundMe account has been established to assist the family with medical and funeral expenses.
