Georgia Hester Miller Livergood

Georgia Hester (Miller) Livergood, 98 years old went home with our Lord on Saturday, December 22, 2018 at home in Knoxville, Tennessee.Georgia was born December 29, 1919 in Kyles Ford, Tennessee. She attended church at Willis Chapel in Hancock County and accepted the Lord as her Savior and was baptized in the early 1930’s in Northfork Creek. She is a member of University Baptist Church in Coral Gables, Florida.She married Harry William Livergood on May 23, 1945, and they were married for 54 years before his passing in 1999. They resided in Coral Gables, the Everglades and Miami, Florida. They moved back to Kingsport, Tennessee in 1991 until she moved to Knoxville to be near her son Hal in 2007. She resided with her son Hal and Wife Nancy in Knoxville for the past 5 years.Georgia was a loving Wife and Mother. She loved to dance and spend time in the Florida Sunshine! She loved her family and most of all she LOVED her sons Dan and Hal.She is preceded in death by her Parents, 5 Brothers and 3 Sisters; Husband, Harry and infant Granddaughter, Shannon Lee Livergood.Survivors: Sons, Dan Livergood and Wife, Ramona; Hal (Harry) Livergood and Wife, Nancy; Grandchildren Audra Livergood Banks, Sara Addington, Melissa Hansen, Blake Livergood, Evan Arai, Isabella Livergood and Nicholas Livergood; Sisters Brenda Methner and Ruth Fleming; 11 Great Grandchildren; Several Nieces, Nephews and a lot of Special Family and Friends.Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m., Friday, December 28, 2018, with Celebration of Life Services following at 7 p.m. at Lynn Garden Baptist Church, 301 May Avenue, Kingsport, TN with Rev. Tiger Brooks officiating. Graveside Services will be held at 12:00 Noon on Saturday, December 29, 2018 at Oak Hill Memorial Park, 800 Truxton Drive, Kingsport, TN.Memorial contributions may be made to the Lynn Garden Baptist Church, 301 May Avenue, Kingsport, TN 37665.The care of Mrs. Georgia H.
