Glen George Rhoton

Glen George Rhoton, 66, of Surgoinsville, departed this life on Friday, November 23, 2018. Glen was born on April 7, 1952, in Kingsport, to the late Samuel Everette and Euna Carter Rhoton. He retired from Holliston Mills with 42 years of service and was an Army Veteran. Glen enjoyed spending time tending his flowers and garden with his best friend and companion, Barney.In addition to his parents, Glen was preceded in death by his wife, Teresa Spencer Rhoton; an infant daughter and brother, Wayne Rhoton and wife Carolyn.Surviving are his stepson, Chad Spencer (Gerry); sisters, Beulah Cox (Leonard), Evelyn Brown (James), Wilma Price (Allen) and Rita Chess (Keith); brothers, Lowell Rhoton (Jean), Harold Rhoton (Dana), David Rhoton (Rose) and Mike Rhoton; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends; and his best friend and companion, Barney; and numerous friends.A Memorial Service in Glen’s honor will held at a later date.The care of Glen George Rhoton and his family has been entrusted to the staff of Oak Hill Funeral and Cremation Services.Read Obituary
