Gregory Clay Hopkins

Gregory C. Hopkins, 63 of Kingsport, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 23, 2022, with his family by his side.Greg was born on April 23, 1959, in Baltimore, Maryland, to the late Edsel and Ida Richardson Hopkins.Greg drove a rollback for Brooks Circle Exxon for over 14 years.In addition to his parents, Greg was preceded in death by his brother, Danny Hopkins.Left to cherish Greg’s memory are his loving and devoted wife of 28 years, Glenda Gail Hobbs Hopkins; sons, Nicholas and Logan Hopkins; stepson, Houston Hobbs; grandsons, Dezmond and Hunter Hobbs; granddaughter, Bailey Hopkins; sister, Gloria Hopkins; brothers, Mark Hopkins and Edsel Hopkins (Connie); and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.A Celebration of Greg’s Life will be held at 2:00 pm, Saturday, April 30, 2022, at Pleasant View Baptist Church with Pastor Wayne Baker officiating. Music will be provided by the Tipton's.
