Gregory Allen Sturgill

Gregory Allen Sturgill, 44, of Kingsport, passed away Thursday, March 15, 2018, of injuries sustained in an automobile accident.Greg was a loving and kind son, father, papaw and brother who had a great sense of humor. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and was an avid Green Bay Packers fan. His grandson, Isaiah Sturgill brought him great joy in life.Greg was employed in the construction industry and worked at Before & After, LLC. He was a member of Mount Pleasant Baptist Church.Greg was preceded in death by his father, Sonny Sturgill, Sr.; sister, Vanessa Laughlin; ex-wife, Kristina Sturgill and step-father, Lloyd Moore.Those left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Christen “Goose” Sturgill; grandson, Gregory Isaiah Sturgill; sons, Chase and Austin Hartsock; mother, Mildred Moore; sisters, Delona Wampler (Mark) and Misty Linkous; brother, Sonny Sturgill, Jr. (Mitzi); several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews also survive.The family will receive friends 4:00-5:45 pm Wednesday, March 21, 2018, at Oak Hill Funeral & Cremation Services. A Celebration of Life Service will follow at 6:00 pm in the J.
