Gwendolyn Thacker Nunley Davis, of Kingsport, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, August 20, 2017 at Holston Valley Medical Center with a “never give up” attitude.Gwendolyn was born on May 17, 1970 to the late Charles and Geraldine Dotson Nunley. She was a loving, caring, giving, and very sweet person. Gwendolyn was a member of the Kingsport Life Saving Crew, and loved her Georgia Bulldogs and Atlanta Braves.She was also preceded in death by her brother, Donnie Nunley.Those left to cherish her memory are her loving husband, Christopher D. Davis; son, James Harold Thacker, Jr.; one grandson; and her brother, Ronnie Nunley.It was Gwendolyn’s wishes to be cremated. No formal service will be held at this time.The care of Gwendolyn Thacker Davis Nunley and her family has been entrusted to the staff of Oak Hill Funeral & Cremation Services.
