Hazel Coffey

Hazel Coffey, 89, of Kingsport, passed away December 31, 2019, at Holston Valley Medical Center. She was born in Elizabethton and had lived in Kingsport for the past 70 years.Mrs. Coffey she was a former employee of Wright’s Country Cuisine and attended Emmanuel Baptist Church.She enjoyed working in her yard, doing house work and loved spending time with her daughter, Teresa.Mrs. Coffey was preceded in death by her husband, Charles William Coffey; parents, Conley Edward and Dorothy McCloud Brookshire and a sister, Carolyn Hess.Surviving are her daughter, Teresa Almany; sisters, Dorothy Sage and husband, Bob and Mary Coffey and husband, J.W.; brother, Paul Brookshire; several nieces and nephews.Arrangements will be announced later by Oak Hill Funeral & Cremation Services. .Read Obituary
