Henrietta D. Fritsch

Henrietta D. Fritsch, age 76, of Kingsport passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 13, 2018, at her home with her loving family by her side.Henrietta was born in Manila, Philippines shortly before WWII, then met the love of her life in Venezuela in 1962. She and Bill married in Kingsport in 1965, moved to Miami in 1974 and returned in 1987. They also lived in the United Kingdom from 1992-1997 before returning to Kingsport. Henrietta was a loving and devoted, wife, mother, and grandmother. She enjoyed cooking and ceramics.Preceding her in death are her parents and one sister.Surviving are her husband of 52 years, Bill Fritsch; daughter, Carmen Elizabeth Fritsch and husband, Dr. John DeLuca; son, Bill Fritsch; grandchildren, Ian DeLuca and Emily Elizabeth Fritsch.The family will receive friends from 12:00 until 1:00 pm on Thursday, February 15, 2018 at St. Dominic Catholic Church. A Funeral Mass will follow at 1:00 pm with Father Michael Cummins officiating.A Private Committal Service will follow at the Chapel Mausoleum at Oak Hill Memorial Park.The family would like to express their extreme gratitude to all the doctors, nurses and staff of Amedisys Hospice for the care and kindness shown through this difficult time, members of St. Dominic’s Church and close friends who provided loving bed side visits.The care of Henrietta D.
