Janie J. Childress

Janie J. Childress, 71, of Bristol, TN passed away Thursday, February 7, 2019, at Ballad Hospice House, Bristol, TN.She was born in Johnson City to the late Jack and Georgia Millhorn. Janie had lived in Bristol most of her life.She enjoyed horses, antiques and loved spending time with her family. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dave Childress; sister, Joyce Wallace and a brother, Jim Millhorn.Surviving are her two sons, Jack Brookshire and David Wayne Childress; several grandchildren; brother, Tommy Millhorn, Sr. and several nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life Service will be held Tuesday, February 12, 2019 at 6:00 pm at Cornerstone Free Will Baptist Church, 300 Henson Lane, Bristol, TN.The family would like to extend a sincere thank you to the doctors and nurses at Ballad Hospice House and a special thank you to Miss Betty.The care of Janie J.
